Welcome to Ignition Point Solutions,

Ignition Point Solutions is an IT services and solutions firm located and operating in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  We focus primarily on software application development and ancillary services such as project management and strategy consulting in software development teams and the business areas they support.  While not exclusive to the Microsoft solutions stack, much of the work we do is based on Microsoft technology.  The foundation of services for our company is based on over a decade of experience working in both enterprise and startup companies, as well as a nice mix in between.  The vast majority of that time has been spent in IT consulting.

My mission is to help companies be more successful through the proper application of technology.  Many technology firms will build a competency in specialized areas and as such, lean towards building solutions that fit those niche products and solutions.  Some firms build a “solution framework” selling a solution offering that often resembles, “We can make your problem look like our solution”.

My goal is to always ask, “What is the problem you are trying to solve.”  Then drive deeper to help determine if you are solving the right problem.  Often in business, we try to fix the symptom, not the cause.  There is no doubt that technology has created many ways of improving our business efficiencies and expanding our profitability.  My goal is to always apply the proper amount of that technology to achieve the maximum value for the minimal cost.
